FLU CLINIC

Flu vaccinations are available for all patients in different age groups.  Flu vaccine is best given in Autumn - we usually start in March or April.  Flu vaccines are mostly given during dedicated immunisation-only clinics.
 

FREE vaccinations for the following groups of people:

• All children aged 6 months to 5 years

• People aged 65 years and over

• People with chronic medical conditions (inc. diabetes, severe asthma, heart disease, cancer and those who are immunosuppressed)

• Pregnant women

• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 15 years and over

Patients not listed above will be required to pay for the vaccine.  However, all consultations solely for flu vaccinations are bulk-billed.
