MINOR SURGERY

At the Shalimar House we have facilities to perform minor surgery including implanon insertion/removal, wound debridement and excision of skin lesions. Our doctors can remove sebaceous cysts, seborrhoeic keratoses, moles and cancers such as basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma and melanoma. Surgery is performed with local anaesthetic to numb the area.

We can also perform cryotherapy (liquid nitrogen) treatment on warts and solar keratoses (sun spots)

For surgery generally a longer appointment is required and, in most cases, a follow up appointment approximately a week later (included in the cost of the surgery) for removal of the sutures.

Please inform the reception should you require long appointments for minor surgery.
